The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
- Carl Jung

Welcome to Isabelle La Vie

In my practice, I offer a warm and professional space where you can pause and reflect on what is happening in your life. A place where you can share your story, explore your thoughts and emotions, and where we can work together to discover what you need to move forward with greater peace, confidence, and resilience.

You may be struggling in a relationship, experiencing tension within your family, feeling overwhelmed by the responsibilities you carry, or finding it difficult to cope with loss, change, or a significant life event that has left you feeling out of balance.

Alongside addressing the challenges you are facing in the present, we also explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that influence the way you think, feel, and respond. This creates not only a deeper understanding of what is happening, but also the opportunity for meaningful and lasting change.

You do not have to navigate it all alone

I warmly invite you to get in touch for a complimentary introductory conversation. Together, we can explore what is currently going on in your life, the challenges you may be facing, and whether my approach feels right for you.

You are very welcome.

My Approach

Awareness, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing are at the heart of my work. In my practice, I draw on insights from positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and systemic approaches.

My approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and solution-focused. Together, we explore not only your thoughts and beliefs, but also your emotions, experiences, and the patterns that may be shaping the way you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you.

We may not always have control over what happens to us, but we can learn how to respond to life's challenges in a way that is more aligned with who we are and what truly matters to us.

Through greater self-awareness comes deeper understanding—of your needs, your patterns, and the choices you make. While we cannot always change our circumstances, we can learn to understand ourselves more fully and make more conscious choices.

This creates space to live with greater authenticity, resilience, confidence, and balance, while navigating life's challenges in a way that feels more meaningful and aligned with who you truly are.

I am not what happened to me,
I am what I choose to become. -Carl Jung

Healing doesn't erase the cracks. It teaches us how to bloom through them.

-Kintsugi

The Japanese art of Kintsugi teaches us that cracks and imperfections do not need to be hidden. Broken pottery is carefully repaired with gold, allowing the fractures to remain visible and become part of its story.

The philosophy behind Kintsugi reminds us that our experiences, challenges, and emotional scars do not make us less valuable. Rather, it is often through what we have endured that we grow, develop resilience, and discover our own unique strength and beauty.

We become who we are not despite our cracks, but in part because of them.
